The people who actually come to your house
Employees, not contractors. Background checked, trained for four visits before working alone, and paid by the hour so nobody is rushing your kitchen.

Some of the team
On a weekly or biweekly plan you get the same person every visit, and after two visits they stop needing to ask you anything.
Marisol Guerra
Lead cleaner, central Austin
Marisol has been here longer than anyone except the founders and trains every new cleaner on their first four visits.
Tobias Nkemelu
Lead cleaner, north crew
Tobias runs the 8am north route and knows which Williamson County neighbourhoods have the worst water.
Rosalind Achebe-Kerr
Move-out specialist
Rosalind handles most of our move-outs and photographs every job herself before she locks up.
Yusuf Baranowski
Cleaner, south Austin
Yusuf works the older bungalows south of the river, where almost every floor is original wood.
Delphine Okoro
Cleaner, east Austin
Delphine came to us from hotel housekeeping and brought the linen habits with her.
Ari Steinbeck-Vance
Commercial lead
Ari runs the evening commercial route and is the person your office key is assigned to.
How somebody joins
Four steps, in this order, with no shortcuts when we are busy. Being short-staffed in August is cheaper than sending a stranger to your house.
- 1
A conversation, not an application form
We talk about what they have cleaned, what they are fussy about and what they refuse to do badly. It tells us more than a CV.
- 2
A third-party background check
Run before a first shift, national and county level, repeated every two years. No exceptions and no waiting on results.
- 3
Four supervised visits
Paid, alongside a lead cleaner, working the same checklist. Nobody cleans a home alone until visit five.
- 4
Hourly pay, above the Austin living wage
Nobody is paid per job, because per-job pay is how you get a cleaner who rushes your kitchen to reach the next house.
What happens with your key
Access details are stored encrypted and released only to the cleaner assigned to your visit, on the day of the visit. A lockbox code, a garage code or a physical key is logged in and out on every job, and the log is visible to you on your account page.
If a cleaner leaves Freshline, every access record they held is rotated within 24 hours and you get an email telling you it happened.
- Access details encrypted, released per visit
- General liability, bonded, workers compensation
- Key log visible on your account
- Codes rotated within 24 hours of any departure
Want a specific cleaner?
Ask in the booking notes. If they cover your area and have a slot, that is who you get.
