Everything people ask before the first visit
Twenty-one questions, grouped. If yours is not here the phone is answered by a person, not a queue.
Booking and scheduling
Do I need to be home?
No, and most people are not. You can leave a key in a lockbox, share a door code, or be there for the first visit and hand over access after that. Whatever you choose is stored on your account and only shown to the cleaner assigned to your visit.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to five days for most slots. Fridays and the last week of the month go first, and move-out cleans in July and August need about ten days notice.
Do you offer same day cleaning?
Sometimes. We hold a small number of Tuesday and Wednesday slots for same-day work. They appear in the booking flow only when a cleaner is genuinely free, so if you see one it is real.
Will I get the same cleaner every time?
On a weekly or biweekly plan, yes, once your schedule settles after the first two visits. If your regular cleaner is sick or on holiday we send someone who has read the notes on your home, and we tell you in advance.
Can I skip a visit?
Skip, move or pause from the link in your confirmation email. Free with more than 24 hours notice; inside that we charge half the visit because the cleaner has already lost the slot.
Pricing and payment
Is the price on the site the price I pay?
Yes, including Austin sales tax. The only way it changes is if you add something on the day, and we tell you the new number before starting.
How does your pricing actually work?
A flat 89 dollar call-out that covers supplies, travel and insurance, plus 28 dollars a bedroom and 24 dollars a bathroom. Deep cleans multiply that by 1.55 and move-out cleans by 1.75. Your plan discount comes off, add-ons go on, then Austin sales tax at 8.25 percent. Nothing is hidden and the calculator does the same arithmetic.
When am I charged?
The card on file is authorised the morning of the visit and captured once the cleaner marks the job complete. You get an itemised receipt by email the same evening.
Should I tip?
It is never expected. Cleaners are paid above the Austin living wage before any tip. If you want to, there is a tip line on the receipt and 100 percent of it goes to the person who cleaned your home.
Is there a contract?
No. Recurring plans are month to month and you can cancel from your account page. The plan discount applies from the first visit, not after a commitment period.
On the day
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes. Cloths, machines, and everything in the caddy come with the cleaner and are in the price. If you would rather we used your products, leave them out with a note and we will.
Are your products safe for pets and children?
Our standard kit is fragrance-free, plant-based and safe once dry, and we keep pets out of a room only while the floor is wet. We use a stronger disinfectant in bathrooms on move-out cleans, and you can opt out of it.
What do you not clean?
Exterior windows above the ground floor, anything requiring a ladder over two steps, mould remediation, pest and animal waste, and clutter we would have to make decisions about. We will tell you before the visit if something on your list falls in there.
What about my dog?
Dogs are fine and most of our cleaners like them. Tell us in the booking notes so the right person is assigned, and let us know if your dog needs to stay in a particular room.
How long does a visit take?
A 3 bed, 2 bath standard clean is around two and a half hours for one cleaner. Deep cleans and move-outs run longer and usually get two people so it still finishes the same afternoon.
Trust and guarantee
Are your cleaners employees or contractors?
Employees. Every one is background checked through a third party, trained on our checklist, insured and bonded, and paid hourly rather than per job so nobody is rushing your kitchen.
What if I am not happy with something?
Tell us within 48 hours and we come back and re-clean that room at no cost. No forms and no argument. It happens on roughly one visit in ninety, and we would rather fix it than lose you.
Are you insured?
Yes. General liability and a surety bond, both current, plus workers compensation for every cleaner. Certificates go to any landlord or property manager who asks.
What happens if something gets broken?
The cleaner reports it before leaving, you hear from us the same day, and we repair or replace it. We would rather be told about a chipped bowl than find out in a review.
