Everything a normal clean has to walk past
Baseboards, vents, grout lines, hard water and the inside of the glass. The visit that makes every visit after it easy.
From $275 a visit, tax included
A standard clean is a two hour visit with a lot to get through.
It cannot also brush the grout. A deep clean buys the hours to do the slow jobs properly, and it only needs doing once or twice a year.
- Hand-wiped baseboards, door frames and switch plates
- Shower grout and hard water spotting on glass and chrome
- Vents and ceiling fans dusted, cobwebs cleared
- Kitchen degrease including hood, backsplash and cabinet fronts

Where the extra hours go
A deep clean costs 1.55 times a standard visit because it takes about that much longer. This is what the extra time buys.
Baseboards and door frames
Hand wiped rather than vacuumed. This is most of the extra time.
Grout and hard water
Shower grout brushed, glass and chrome descaled rather than wiped around.
Interior glass and sills
Reachable windows, sills and tracks, including the grit in the corners.
Vents and fans
Ceiling fan blades, return vents and the cobwebs above the door frames.
Kitchen degrease
Hood, backsplash, cabinet fronts and the top of the fridge.
Under and behind
Under beds and sofas where a standard visit does not go.

Two months worth booking in Austin
February. Cedar season ends and there is a film of Ashe juniper pollen on every sill, blind and return vent in the house. A deep clean in the second half of February clears it in one go instead of you finding it in July.
September. After a summer of dust and air conditioning running constantly, vents and fan blades are the dirtiest they get all year. It is also the quietest month in our calendar, so slots are easy.
Book a deep cleanBefore you book one
How long does a deep clean take?
Roughly 4 hours for a 3 bed, 2 bath house. We usually send two cleaners so it still finishes in one afternoon.
Do I need one before starting a plan?
Not always. If the house has been cleaned regularly, a standard first visit is fine. If it has been six months or more, a deep clean first means every visit after it is a maintenance visit rather than a catch-up.
Is this the same as a move-out clean?
No. A deep clean is for a house you live in, so we work around your things. A move-out clean is for an empty house and includes the inside of every cabinet and appliance.
Can I book a deep clean on its own?
Yes. Plenty of people book one in January after the holidays and again in September, with nothing in between.
What about mould in the shower?
Surface mildew on grout and silicone, yes. Anything behind tile or drywall is remediation work and needs a specialist, and we will tell you if that is what you are looking at.
Book the reset.
Most people book a deep clean first and switch to every two weeks afterwards. You can set both up in the same two minutes.
