A move-out clean is not a bigger deep clean, it is a different job.
Nobody is going to live in the house on the day we finish; somebody is going to walk through it with a clipboard. So the work is about the places a clipboard goes: inside, behind, underneath, and the corners of the window tracks.

How the week runs
Move-outs go wrong for scheduling reasons, not cleaning reasons. This is the order that works.
Ten days out
Book the slot
July and August are the busiest weeks of our year because every Austin lease ends then. Ten days is comfortable; three days in August is not.
The day before
Empty it properly
Everything out, including the garage and the top shelf of the closet. We clean an empty house twice as well and half as slowly.
On the day
Two cleaners, one pass
We work top to bottom, room by room, so nothing already cleaned gets dust dropped on it. Power and water need to still be on.
That evening
Photos in your inbox
Inside every cabinet, oven, fridge and closet, photographed. Forward the email to your landlord and the conversation is usually over.

- Wall painting or patching nail holes
- Pest treatment or animal waste
We will tell you before the visit if something on your list falls here, and point you at someone who does it.

The deposit questions
Will this get my deposit back?
It gets you the cleaning half of the deposit conversation. We clean to the standard a property manager inspects against and send you photographs of every cabinet and appliance, which is what usually ends the argument. We cannot help with carpet damage, holes in walls or unpaid rent.
Does the house have to be empty?
Almost. A few boxes in one room is fine, but we cannot clean inside a cabinet full of plates or under a bed that is still there. Anything still in place gets noted and skipped rather than moved.
How much notice do you need?
Two days in most months. Between mid-June and the end of August, plan on ten days, because that is when every lease in this city turns over.
Can you do it after the movers leave, same day?
Often yes, if you book the afternoon window and the movers are genuinely out by 1pm. Tell us in the notes and we will hold the slot rather than send someone to a full house.
What if the landlord is not satisfied?
Send us their list within 48 hours of the clean. If it is something on our checklist we come back and fix it at no cost. If it is a carpet stain or a scuffed wall, that is not cleaning and we will say so plainly.
